Alquimiatec S.A. was founded in Ecuador by local and international partners in 1996. The object was then and still is today planning and development of environmental technology projects for the Latin American market. In addition renewable energy projects have been developed throughout the past 25 years in the sectors wind, biomass and small hydro power.

As one of the local pioneers in the field of the Kyoto Protocol Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) we are authoritative partners in all questions concerning emission reduction and climate-friendly production of energy.

Our experience from many years of co-operation with international partners has created a thorough know-how basis which we put to use both in an advisory capacity and in the development of projects.

Alquimiatec's success is based on the philosophy that it is possible to bring together the different interests of all parties concerned with the projects and find an optimal solution while fairly distributing risk and profit.

On the basis of this excellent position in the expanding Latin American market for renewable energy and biological waste management we will continue the positive development of our enterprise in the future.
